Share map
Share map allows users to share their map view with someone else via a link. This link includes which map is being viewed and the current map view area and zoom level. The share map tool can also generate an embed HTML link if you wish to embed the current map view on a different website.
How to use
To share the map
- Click on "more" button of the tool menu, click on the share icon.
- Copy (CTRL +C) the map link in the bar
- Send link via email, social media etc.
- (Optional) - Before copying link, choose from link options to add extra information to your shared map.
To embed the map
- Click on "more" button of the tool menu, click on the share icon.
- Select and copy (CTRL + C) the embed text from.
- Copy this into the HTML of your website.
- Test your website and the map will display inside of it at your chosen location and zoom level.
