Education

Herenga ā Nuku has created online resources to assist teachers and students in exploring the theme of the responsible use of the outdoors. It also introduces schools to the work of Herenga ā Nuku and the Outdoor Access Code.

Students can use the outdoor education resources on this site to learn about responsible access to the outdoors and explore the perspectives of others. Teachers can use the teacher resources to create lesson plans and support education outside the classroom (EOTC) activities.

We’re always interested in hearing from teachers and others with any suggestions for new resources that would be helpful. Our communications team looks after creating new educational materials. Please feel welcome to contact them.
