Two new team members welcomed in Wellington

Our Wellington office has welcomed two new staff, with Brigid Jenkins starting as policy and partnerships advisor and Elizabeth Morris as corporate services advisor.

Brigid Jenkins’ role has dual functionality: firstly, it is responsible for the development of central and regional government relationships, as well as assisting in the management of relationships around the country; and secondly for the testing and development of policy relevant to the Commission, and raising the profile of the Commission in policy circles.

Previously, Brigid worked in the partnership space implementing the Government Industry Agreement for Biosecurity at the Ministry for Primary Industries, and in advocacy for the Forest Owners Association. She has a diverse portfolio in environmental issues, transportation, biosecurity, education and the social sciences.

Elizabeth Morris has a background in the banking industry and joins the Commission from Victoria University of Wellington where she held planning, academic programme management and administrative roles. She will support the Commission’s work by providing executive support to the Board, and general administration services for the managers and staff of the Commission.
